Hybrid Publishing Toolkit for the Arts _
Within the Digital Publishing Toolkit research project, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences collaborated with various designers and developers on this publication ‘From Print to Ebooks: a Hybrid Publishing Toolkit for the Arts’.
This Toolkit is for everyone working in art and design publishing and provides hands-on practical information and tools, focusing on working solutions for low-budget, small-edition publishing. It includes suggestions on how to generate a hybrid form of publication, in which both print and electronic editions of the same basic content can be published within one workflow. Apart from an active roll in the research, Loes Sikkes designed the publication along with infographics for editorial scenarios of art and design catalogues, periodicals, research publications, and artists’/designer’s books in collaboration with Kimmy Spreeuwenberg. networkcultures.org/digitalpublishing
